Dr Tam graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2002. With over two decades of experience in both public and private sectors, as well as international practice serving the expatriate community in Shanghai, he brings a wealth of clinical expertise across patients of all ages. Yet, it is his pursuit of continuous refinement—through extensive global education, teaching, and mentorship—that distinguishes his practice at the highest level.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr Tam dedicates over 200 hours annually to continuing education, both as a participant and as a speaker, locally and internationally. As an early adopter of digital dentistry, he is actively involved in mentoring and training fellow clinicians in CAD/CAM technology and microscope-enhanced dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

As the founder of Smile Design Dental Practice, Dr Tam has created a boutique clinical environment built on intention and excellence.
