Dr Gordon Tam graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2002. He has over two decades of experience working in both the public and private sectors and has also served the expat community in Shanghai, China.

With his broad exposure to patients ranging from young children to elderly individuals, he can capture their hearts with his caring and pleasant personality, careful and detailed diagnosis, and his ever-learning mindset. 

Dr Gordon spends more than 200 hours a year attending and giving lectures locally and overseas. As an early adopter of technology, he serves as a CEREC CAD/CAM trainer and mentor to other doctors in CERECDOCTORS, Spears Education in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

His passion for dentistry is evident in his practice. He established Smile Design Dental Practice, equipped every treatment room with a dental operating microscope for general dentistry, which he firmly believes that 'you cannot treat what you cannot see'.

Dr Gordon lives by his philosophy, providing you with the available options and advising you through every step, including financial and time costs.

His belief in up-to-date technology and persistence in delivering detailed diagnoses for his patients led him to establish his very own practice after more than 2 decades of experience in dentistry. With a caring and friendly nature, Dr Gordon treats his patients the way he wants his loved ones to be treated, with his passion, professionalism and knowledge in digital dentistry.

Dr Gordon is married to his fantastic wife and a father to 3 young sons. He spends his free time nurturing them, leading by example, and showing the philosophy that he lives by. 

Born in Hong Kong, and migrated to Singapore during his teens, Dr Gordon is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

He is an avid runner who participates in marathons and other running events locally and overseas. To contribute back to society, he is also a Grassroots Leader, serving the community and helping residents in need.
