Dr Charmaine Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honors) from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She was awarded multiple First Class Book Prizes throughout her undergraduate years. She was also invited to present at the Royal Academy of Medicines Ireland (Odontology) ceremony for her research paper.

Before entering private practice, Dr Tan practiced at National Dental Centre, providing advanced general dentistry services whilst focusing on the management of geriatric and special needs patients. She was a recipient of the Singapore health Quality Service Award (SHQSA) for her outstanding service.

Dr Tan enjoys creating smiles and believes in taking time to understand each individual's needs and desires in order to provide holistic patient care. She advocates the use of the evidence based dentistry and constantly undergoes dental courses to stay abreast with the latest technology.

Outside dentistry, she enjoys traveling and a game of tennis.
