We want to give you a pleasurable experience when you visit our clinic.
What do we do during the consultation session?
We believe that being detailed in every examination and explanation will ease any potential doubts that you may have. On your first visit, we will allocate ample time to listen to your concerns and expectations.
We examine tooth by tooth in detail. Photographs of your teeth and gums are taken with the intra-oral camera to help you understand your oral condition.
If required, we will take X-rays of your teeth to ensure that there are no hidden problems. After the examination, our doctor will share the clinical findings with you and discuss your treatment options, time required and treatment fees involved, in consideration of your needs and priorities.
All queries and doubts will be answered during the session and you will receive a written treatment plan reflective of our discussion at the end of the session.
At Smile Design Dental Practice, we aim to provide quality dental solutions for our patients. We will only begin the treatment when you agree with our treatment plan and the fees that are clearly stated.
Leaving no room for uncertainty, you can be assured that we will make your every visit to our clinic a pleasant one.
Registration
We value your time. Your first appointment will take approximately 40 - 60 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the appointment for registration so that doctor can attend to you on time.
While we are processing your registration, you may enjoy some coffee, tea and snacks at our complimentary snack bar.
Please remember to bring along the following documents:
- Identity Card / Birth Certificate / Passport / Work Permit / Driving License (Mandatory)
- Latest dental records (X-rays / photographs / CT scan) if available
- A list of medications you are currently taking
- Indication of any allergies
- CHAS / PG cards or Personal or Dental Insurance cards (if applicable)
Booking deposit - Appointments with specialists or long appointments (90 minutes or longer)
We will collect a deposit of $200 for appointments with specialists or long appointments (90 minutes or longer) for complex treatments. This deposit will come from a portion of your treatment fee.
Terms & Conditions
- For rescheduling appointments at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, we will carry forward the deposit to the next scheduled appointment.
- For canceling appointments at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, we will refund you the deposit.
- Your deposit will not be refunded if you reschedule or cancel less than 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- For patients with cashless insurance, your deposit will be refunded after you have completed the treatment.
Modes of Payment
We accept Cash, NETS, VISA, MasterCard, Amex, UnionPay, GrabPay, PayNow and immediate interbank transfers (for overseas patients).
Getting to Our Clinic
We are located visibly at the cross junction of Bukit Timah Road/Dunearn Road and Adam Road/Farrer Road. Our location is conveniently accessible by public transport. With the MRT interchange station of the Downtown Line and Circle Line (Botanic Gardens), we are just a few minutes walk away.
Our clinic is wheelchair friendly. We can be accessed via a lift beside McDonald's.
